Child Safety Standards
Our standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), how we enforce them, and how to report a concern.
The short version (the full standards below control if there's ever a conflict):
UBee has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). Anything that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers a minor is strictly prohibited. UBee is a text-only service with no photo or video uploads and preset avatars, so child sexual abuse imagery cannot be hosted here directly; we still prohibit and act on text, links, grooming, solicitation, and accounts used to harm minors. When we learn of apparent child sexual abuse material, we remove it, ban the account, preserve evidence, and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) as required by law. UBee is for adults 18 and older. Every place you can post or message has a report tool — please use it, and email [email protected] for anything urgent.

1. Introduction & our commitment
Protecting children is the highest priority for UBee, operated by WooWay LLC ("WooWay," "UBee," "we," "us," or "our"). These Child Safety Standards are our publicly available standards prohibiting child sexual abuse and exploitation ("CSAE") on the Service, and they explain how we enforce those standards, how we report, and how you can reach us. They apply to everyone who uses UBee and to all activity on the Service, and they form part of our Community Guidelines and Terms of Service.
2. Definitions: CSAE & CSAM
- Child / minor
- any person under the age of 18 (and any person treated as a minor under the law that applies to them).
- Child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE)
- any act, content, or behavior that sexually abuses, exploits, or endangers a minor — including grooming, sexual solicitation of a minor, sexual extortion ("sextortion"), trafficking of a minor for sexual purposes, or otherwise sexualizing a minor for an adult's benefit.
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
- any visual depiction — including photographs, videos, drawings, and computer-generated or AI-generated imagery — involving a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct. CSAM is illegal.
3. What is prohibited
The following are strictly prohibited on UBee, without exception:
- creating, sharing, requesting, offering, linking to, or trading child sexual abuse material, including AI-generated or digitally altered depictions;
- sexualizing a minor in any form, including in text, usernames, or profiles;
- grooming, or any attempt to build a relationship with a minor in order to sexually exploit them, and normalizing or encouraging such behavior;
- sexual solicitation of a minor, or sextortion or sexual coercion involving a minor;
- trafficking, advertising, or arranging the sexual exploitation or other endangerment of a minor; and
- any other content or behavior that exploits or endangers a minor.
4. How we protect minors
We take a privacy-first, safety-by-design approach:
- Text-only, no uploads. UBee does not offer photo or video uploads, and profile avatars are chosen from preset styles rather than uploaded photographs, so child sexual abuse imagery cannot be hosted on UBee directly. Our standards still cover text, links, usernames, and accounts used to cause these harms.
- Minimum age 18. UBee is intended for adults aged 18 and older (or older where local law requires). UBee is not directed to minors (see Section 9). The conduct rules below apply regardless: they govern behaviour toward minors anywhere, not only on UBee.
- Reporting built in. Every place where you can post or message includes a report tool, so concerns can be raised quickly without leaving the app.
- Conduct rules for adults toward minors. Adults must not seek romantic or sexual relationships with minors, request a minor's private contact details or location, isolate a minor from trusted adults, or otherwise behave toward a minor in a way that creates a risk to their safety.
- Reactive review with serious-harm escalation. Most review is triggered by reports; the most serious safety violations are acted on as soon as we are aware.
5. How to report a concern
If you see content or behavior that may involve the sexualization, exploitation, or endangerment of a minor, please report it right away using the in-app report tools, or email [email protected]. You can also report directly to the authorities — in the United States, to the NCMEC CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org, or to your local law enforcement. If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. Please report in good faith; we review reports and take appropriate action.
6. What we do when we learn of CSAE or CSAM
When we become aware of apparent CSAE or CSAM, we act decisively and without warning: we remove the content, suspend or permanently terminate the responsible account, take steps to prevent the user from returning, and preserve relevant evidence. We then report apparent child sexual abuse material to the authorities as described below. There are no second chances for child-safety violations.
7. Reporting to NCMEC & authorities
As a U.S.-based provider, when we become aware of apparent child sexual abuse material we report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children ("NCMEC") through its CyberTipline, as required by U.S. law, and NCMEC makes reports available to the appropriate law enforcement agencies. We preserve the reported material and related information for the period the law requires — currently at least one year — and that preservation is independent of, and survives, any account deletion. We cooperate with valid legal requests as described in our Law Enforcement Guidelines, and our CSAM reporting page explains how to report this content to us.
8. AI-generated content
Our standards apply equally to artificial or computer-generated material. Content that sexualizes a minor, or that realistically depicts a minor in sexually explicit conduct, is prohibited and treated as CSAM whether it is authentic or AI-generated. Realistic AI-generated or altered intimate imagery of a real person is also covered by our TAKE IT DOWN process.
9. Underage users & minimum age
UBee is intended for adults aged 18 and older, or older where local law sets a higher minimum age. UBee is not directed to minors, and we do not knowingly allow anyone under the applicable minimum age to use it. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under the minimum age, we will take appropriate steps, which may include disabling the account and deleting associated personal information, as described in our Children's Privacy Notice.
10. Child-safety point of contact
We maintain a point of contact for child-safety matters. For reports and child-safety concerns, contact [email protected]. For authorities, regulators, or formal notifications regarding CSAE on the Service, contact [email protected]. We aim to review child-safety reports promptly and to act on them quickly.
11. Relationship to our other policies

12. How these standards are maintained
These Child Safety Standards are published here so they are accessible to anyone, and we review and update them as the Service evolves, as new kinds of harm emerge, and to reflect changes in the law and in best practices for combating online CSAE. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above.
