Children's Privacy Notice
UBee is for adults 18 and over. Our minimum age, why we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and how parents and guardians can reach us.

UBee is for adults aged 18 and over (older where local law requires). UBee is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we disable it and delete the associated personal information. We collect as little as we can, we do not sell personal information, we do not show third-party ads in the app, and we do not track precise or GPS location. Separately, and regardless of who posts it, we have zero tolerance for the sexualization, exploitation, or endangerment of any child, and we report apparent child sexual abuse material to NCMEC as required by law. 1. Introduction & scope
This Children's Privacy Notice explains UBee's minimum age, why WooWay LLC ("WooWay," "UBee," "we," "us," or "our") does not knowingly handle the information of anyone under that age, and how parents and guardians can reach us. It supplements our Privacy Policy, which describes our practices in full, and should be read together with our Child Safety Standards and Community Guidelines.
2. Minimum age
UBee is a general-audience service intended for adults aged 18 and older. It is not designed for, marketed to, or directed at children or teenagers. Where the law that applies to you sets a higher minimum age to use an online service or to consent to the processing of personal data, that higher age applies, and you must meet it. To help enforce this, we ask for a date of birth during sign-up and use it to apply the minimum-age requirement, both in the app and on our servers.
3. We do not knowingly collect from anyone under 18
UBee is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18 (or under a higher minimum age where local law requires one), we will take appropriate steps, which may include disabling the account and deleting the associated personal information. If you believe someone under 18 has provided us personal information, please contact [email protected] and we will act promptly.
4. Information we handle
UBee is built privacy-first, and we handle the same limited information for every user. We do not sell personal information, we do not show third-party ads in the app, and we do not track your device's precise or GPS location — the places on a profile are the broad, self-reported areas a user chooses. UBee is text-only and does not offer photo or video uploads; profile avatars are generated in the app from preset styles rather than uploaded photographs. We do not access a device's contacts, camera, or microphone. The categories of information we handle and how long we keep them are described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Parents & guardians
If you are a parent or guardian and believe someone under 18 has created an account on UBee, contact us at [email protected]. You can ask us about the information associated with the account, request that we delete it, or raise a concern. We may need to take reasonable steps to verify your identity and your relationship to the account before acting on a request, to protect the account and its information.
6. Child safety
Our minimum age does not limit our child-safety obligations, and this section applies regardless of who is involved. We have zero tolerance for the sexualization, exploitation, or endangerment of any child. Our Community Guidelines and Child Safety Standards prohibit such content and conduct outright — including grooming, solicitation, and any attempt to develop a romantic or sexual relationship with a child — wherever it occurs and whoever posts it. When we become aware of apparent child sexual abuse material, we remove it, ban the account, preserve evidence, and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) as required by law. If you encounter content or behavior that may harm a child, please report it in the app or to [email protected], and see our Child Safety Standards and CSAM reporting page. If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
7. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice from time to time — for example, as the Service evolves or to reflect changes in the law. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate or required, provide additional notice.
