How to report child sexual abuse material connected to UBee, how to reach NCMEC and authorities, and what we do.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. To report child sexual abuse material ("CSAM") connected to UBee, report it in the app or email [email protected] — please do not download, save, or forward the material. You can also report directly to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline. When we become aware of apparent CSAM, we remove it, ban the account, preserve evidence, and report it to NCMEC as required by law. UBee is text-only with no photo or video uploads, so CSAM imagery cannot be hosted here directly, but we act on any text, links, or accounts used in connection with it.

1. If a child is in immediate danger
If you believe a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services right away (for example, 911 in the United States). Reporting to emergency services first is the fastest way to get help to a child who may be at risk.
2. Introduction & scope
This page explains how to report apparent child sexual abuse material ("CSAM") connected to UBee, operated by WooWay LLC ("WooWay," "UBee," "we," "us," or "our"), and what we do when we receive a report. UBee has zero tolerance for the sexualization, exploitation, or endangerment of minors, as set out in our Child Safety Standards and Community Guidelines. UBee is a text-only service with no photo or video uploads, so CSAM imagery cannot be hosted on UBee directly; we still act on text, links, usernames, and accounts used in connection with this material.
3. How to report to UBee
To report apparent CSAM or child-safety concerns connected to UBee:
- In the app: use the report tool available wherever you can view content or messages.
- By email: [email protected], with enough detail for us to locate the content (for example, the username and the message or post).
Please do not download, save, copy, or forward suspected CSAM — doing so may itself be unlawful. A description and the location on the Service are enough for us to act. We treat these reports as urgent.
4. How to report to NCMEC & authorities
You can also report apparent child sexual exploitation directly to the authorities:
- In the United States: the NCMEC CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org or by phone at 1-800-843-5678.
- Outside the United States: contact your local law enforcement, or a national hotline through an international network such as INHOPE (inhope.org).
Reporting to the authorities and reporting to us are both helpful: the authorities can address the wider situation, and a report to us lets us act on our platform.
5. What we do with reports
When we become aware of apparent CSAM, we act without warning: we remove the content, suspend or permanently terminate the responsible account, take steps to prevent the user from returning, and preserve relevant evidence. We then report apparent child sexual abuse material to NCMEC as described below, and we cooperate with valid legal requests under our Law Enforcement Guidelines.
6. Our reporting & preservation obligations
As a U.S.-based provider, when we obtain knowledge of apparent CSAM we are required to report it to NCMEC's CyberTipline as soon as reasonably possible, and NCMEC makes reports available to the appropriate law enforcement agencies. We preserve the reported material and related information for the period the law requires — currently at least one year — and we may preserve it longer for child-safety purposes. This preservation is independent of, and survives, any account deletion. We do not have an obligation to proactively monitor or scan private content, and our review is primarily reactive; we act on apparent CSAM whenever we become aware of it.
7. If the material is of you or your child
If the material depicts you or a child you are responsible for, please report it as above; if it is in immediate circulation, contacting NCMEC and local law enforcement can also help. For non-consensual intimate imagery (including realistic AI-generated or altered images), you can additionally use our TAKE IT DOWN removal process. Support is available from victim-assistance organizations, and NCMEC operates services to help with the removal of a minor's imagery.
8. Good-faith reporting
Please report in good faith. We treat child-safety reports seriously and act on them. The law provides certain protections for people, including minors, who report this kind of material in good faith — for example, when a young person reports imagery depicting themselves. If you are unsure whether something qualifies, report it anyway; we would much rather review a report and find no issue than miss a chance to protect a child.
