Cookie Policy
How the UBee website uses cookies and similar technologies — kept minimal, with no advertising or cross-site tracking.
The short version (the full policy below controls if there's ever a conflict):
We keep cookies to a minimum. The UBee website (ubee.social) uses only the cookies and similar technologies needed to operate and secure the site and to remember your preferences, such as your language. We do not use advertising cookies, we do not use cross-site or behavioral tracking, and we do not sell your information. The UBee mobile app does not use advertising cookies or third-party ad trackers either. You can control or clear cookies in your browser at any time.

1. Introduction & scope
This Cookie Policy explains how WooWay LLC ("WooWay," "UBee," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on the UBee website at ubee.social. It supplements our Privacy Policy, which describes more fully how we handle information. Building UBee privacy-first means keeping this kind of technology to the minimum needed to run the site well.
2. What cookies and similar technologies are
A "cookie" is a small text file that a website can store in your browser. Similar technologies include browser storage (such as "local storage") and similar mechanisms. These can be "session" (deleted when you close your browser) or "persistent" (kept until they expire or you delete them), and they can be set by the site you are visiting ("first-party") or by another domain ("third-party"). We use only first-party technologies for the limited purposes described below.
3. How we use them
We use cookies and similar technologies only to operate and secure the website and to remember your preferences. For example, they help the site function correctly and securely, and they let the site remember choices such as your preferred language so you do not have to set them again on each visit. We do not use them to build advertising profiles or to track you across other websites.
4. Categories we use
The table below summarizes the categories of cookies and similar technologies the website uses.
| Category | Purpose | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Make the site work and keep it secure — for example, basic functionality and security. The site cannot function properly without these. | Session or short-lived |
| Preferences | Remember choices you make, such as your preferred language, so the site reflects them on your next visit. | Persistent, until expiry or you clear it |
If we ever introduce additional categories (for example, optional, privacy-respecting measurement), we will update this policy first and, where the law requires consent, we will ask for it before using them.
5. What we do not use
To be clear about what UBee does not do:
- we do not use advertising or ad-targeting cookies;
- we do not use cross-site, behavioral, or third-party tracking cookies;
- we do not show third-party ads on the site or in the app; and
- we do not sell your personal information.
6. The UBee mobile app
The UBee mobile app is not a web browser and does not use advertising cookies or third-party ad trackers. The app uses on-device storage as needed to sign you in and operate the app's features. How the app handles information generally is described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Managing cookies
You can control and delete cookies and similar technologies through your browser settings — for example, to block cookies, delete existing cookies, or be warned before one is stored. Each browser is different, so check your browser's help pages for instructions. Because we use these technologies only for essential functions and preferences, blocking or clearing them may cause the site to forget your choices (such as language) or to work less smoothly, but it will not prevent you from reading our pages.
8. Do Not Track & Global Privacy Control
Some browsers can send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. Because there is no common industry standard for how to interpret DNT, we do not respond to DNT signals in a standardized way; instead, we operate as described in this policy and our Privacy Policy. Where the law requires us to honor a recognized opt-out preference signal (such as the Global Privacy Control), we will do so to the extent it applies to us.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time — for example, if we change how the site works or to reflect changes in the law. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above.
